About the Opportunity

 We have an exciting opportunity for a National Stores and Procurement IT Engineer to join our team based in Port Melbourne on a full-time permanent basis.

 

In this Role

The primary roles are as follows:

  • National Stores

 

    • Work with the Network Development team on all Technology related activities required to configure and implement new stores, store refresh and store transitions.
    • Support Store, Corporate and vendors with full guidance, support and management including remote, phone and F2F where needed for all Network/Microsoft/Laptop/Devices/ERP Pronto and general IT assistance. In the creation/setup of a new site as well as established stores
    • Assist with the transition to BAU of support for stores defining and implementing procedures and notes for the seamless transition.

 

  • Equipment Management and Procurement – Take responsibility for the procurement process of all technology equipment for Total Tools in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect and IT Operations manager. This will include the management of all requests, ordering, vendor relationships, communication, delivery and chargeback for all sites and new stores.

 

  • Manage all IT requirements for new store, store refresh and store transition and successfully implement.
  • Coordinate all relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of all technology relating to new sites, store refresh, store transitions to meet IT requirements. This will require coordination of cross functional teams to achieve results.
  • Provide onsite support and project management of all technical components of new stores and store changes.
  • Technical escalation point for Service Desk
  • Manage any escalated inquiries, requests, complaints, issues or cases and obtain guidance from the Manager IT Operations as required.
  • Create and manage the process to collect all equipment enquiries and requestions – this will integrate with the current service desk request process.
  • Manage and implement with stores and vendors the procurement cycle to a successful delivery process. Where necessary, manage and coordinate inventory of stock and holdings to minimise interruptions. This is for all equipment, inclusive of phones, ESL’s and printers.
  • Manage and coordinate the transition to support of all equipment and new stores including any agreed documentation.
  • Participate in broader, system related business projects and run small infrastructure projects with the assistance of senior leaders or independently as required.
  • Develop and report on the status of project resources/deliverable, system performance reviews and post implementation audits.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, users, IT staff, and management to determine and resolve issues associated with system and network implementation.
  • Champion and drive positive customer service outcomes and customer first approach.
  • Participate as necessary on the strategic enablement of IT and Digital systems and participate as required.
  • Ensure all calls and contacts are logged and processed using corporate helpdesk systems.
  • Reporting on agreed metrics for ordering and delivering equipment.
  • Create and review knowledgebase articles.
  • Continuous improvement on current processes and policies and procedures.

 Experience:

  • Customer service experience
  • MS 365 Environment
  • Basic networking and monitoring
  • Equipment provisioning, setup and deployment
  • Pronto ERP experience will be advantageous

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience of Microsoft environment
  • Strong Relationship Management skills
  • Moderate network troubleshooting ability
