About the Opportunity

 

As we continue to grow our commercial footprint, we’re looking for a Commercial – Strategy Account Manager SA/WA to help take our key customer relationships to the next level.

 

Reporting to the GM Trade and Commercial Sales, this role will focus on managing and growing strategic commercial accounts across our network.

 

Based in Adelaide or Perth, this is a hands‑on, growth‑focused role for someone who thrives on winning new business and expanding commercial accounts. You’ll proactively identify and pursue new opportunities, open doors with strategic customers, and build momentum across the commercial segment. Regular travel is required (approximately once a month, with a week away per trip).

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic commercial accounts
  • Act as the key contact for major commercial clients
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Drive sales performance through solution-based selling
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and forecasts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer outcomes
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity

 

You’re Likely a Match If You Have

  • Experience in B2B commercial sales
  • Exposure to tools, hardware, industrial, mining, or large civil project environments
  • Knowledge of the Australian commercial trade landscape
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Solid commercial and financial acumen
  • Organised, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel regularly (once a month, one week at a time)
