Our Food Service and Convenience business encompasses our wholesale, foodservices and distribution services across the Campbells Wholesale, Superior Food Services, and Independent Grocers brands – servicing small to medium businesses right across Australia. About the Opportunity

We are looking for an organised and reliable Admin Assistant to join our team with Independent Grocers (Metcash). Independent Grocers (Metcash) Alice Springs supply town and remote communities with a wide range of essential food products. This is a permanent part-time role with 25 hours per week, and has flexibility on days and hours.

In this Role

• You will be providing administrative support to the branch buyers with confirmation of purchase orders
• General communication to suppliers for enquiries and follow ups
• Purchasing daily buy ins
• Provided administrative assistance to the tele sales team when required
• General administrative support to the branch management and sectors

You’re Likely a Match If

• You have demonstrated customer service experience and skills
• Ability to be diverse in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite
