Job Description

As the Credit Controller in this 7-month contract you will effectively and efficiently operate Tasman Liquor Credit functions, including managing credit contracts and engaging with relevant stakeholders to minimise risk, enhance customer service and maximise value and cash flow.


What you’ll do

  • Support the Customer Service & Credit manager during Project Horizon roll-out.
  • Responsibility for collection of due and overdue debt, maintaining overdue debt below target of 5% of total ledger
  • Ensuring all customer orders credit holds are processed correctly in a timely manner to ensure warehouse cut-off times are met to allow the warehouses to operate efficiently
  • Liaising with suppliers and other internal and external parties regarding RTV accounts
  • Minimise risk by ensuring decisions and processes adhere to company policy, engage with relevant stakeholders to establish mutually acceptable outcomes having regard for the risk and return decision matrix
  • Negotiate with customers (within agreed delegations) regarding any variations to terms to ensure acceptable risk profiles, monitor and review any variations


What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience in credit collection and credit contracts
  • MS Dynamics experience highly desired
  • Experience with managing and supervising staff
  • MS Office high level proficiency
