The Distribution team in Tasman Liquor are looking for an Inventory Manager to support and drive the warehouse operating system by maintaining and reviewing processes in line with change to work methods, procedures and business requirements. You will also be responsible for managing stock flow ensuring the utilization of resources to provide customers and suppliers with a “first class” distribution model.

 

What you’ll do

•    Maintaining accurate data information and the integrity of warehouse layouts.
•    Reviewing operational methods and procedures in view of making any operational improvements, system reports and advising warehouse management on system performance.
•    Adding new and deleting old lines from the product range in accordance with requirements of the purchasing department.
•    Monitoring inwards flow ensuring staff are available to complete various inwards functions and advising procurement of warehouse space availability

 

What you’ll bring

•    Experience working in the FMCG industry would be advantageous 
•    Warehousing and Distribution Leadership
•    Warehouse management systems experience
•    Managing relationships with internal and external parties
•    In-depth knowledge of cycle counting/stock-take processes
