About the Role

K&B Mitre 10 has an opportunity to work with a great team at our Reynella site. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated and be relied upon to work in a team environment and contribute to the performance of the store.  

The successful candidate will be offered a Full Time position working 38 hours per week including the weekends, competitive remuneration and great career growth opportunities.  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
• Serving customers - helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
• Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
• Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced team environment
• Previous building industry or similar experience (essential)
• Experience in quoting and counter sales highly regarded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Must be physically fit - heavy lifting required
• Comfortable with technology with basic computer skills
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Car Licence - Class C - a must
• Forklift Licence a must
