About The Role
Are you a skilled and reliable Driver/Picker looking for a fulfilling role with a reputable company? Our Caboolture Mitre 10 business is seeking a dedicated Driver/Picker team member to join our team on a full-time basis.
You will enjoy a stable 38-hour week work schedule working, Monday to Friday (Only work a Saturday for stocktake). You will provide excellent customer service and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment. You will hold a current car license, forklift licence and MR licence.
What You Will Be Doing
- Safely operate company trucks to deliver products to building sites across the surrounding areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing Hardings Mitre 10 professionally at all times.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries to support smooth daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and store teams to coordinate deliveries and quickly resolve any issues.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring correct quantities, product quality, and safe load restraint.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and manual handling where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with WHS standards.
- Complete delivery paperwork and basic system updates accurately and efficiently.
What You Will Bring
- Current and valid Car Licence - essential
- MR Licence – essential
- Forklift Licence – essential
- HR Licence - highly regarded
- Experience picking and packing orders in a warehouse, trade, or building supplies environment (highly regarded).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling (some heavy lifting required).
- Ability to confidently deliver to active building sites and follow site safety requirements.
- A reliable, team‑focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
