About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and driven Retail Supply Specialist to join our team at Canning Vale on a 13‑month fixed term contract.

The position operates on an early‑start schedule, approximately 6:30am to 2:30pm.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving profitable sales to our retailers, executing customer‑driven volume initiatives such as trade shows, supplier turn‑in orders, and allocations. You’ll also represent Metcash in supply relationships with retailers and ensure the efficient inbound flow of stock into our Distribution Centres!

In this Role

• Liaise with Distribution Centres (DCs) to understand inbound capacity throughout the year
• Manage inbound bookings with suppliers and transport companies in line with DC capacity and the service requirements of the Supply Planning team
• Collate and coordinate Turn‑In Orders with retailers, suppliers, and the Supply Planning function, and upload them into Metcash B2B systems
• Process all orders from the Demand Planning folder, ensuring the Supplier Confirmation process is applied where required
• Review short‑code and aged stock, working with suppliers and internal Metcash stakeholders to clear stock with minimal EBIT impact, including order management for state‑based suppliers as required

You’re Likely a Match If

• Experience in the FMCG or wholesale retail environment is highly regarded
• Retail experience and a customer relationship–focused background preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with confidence working across data and reporting
• Strong coordination and organisational capabilities
• Proven ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships
