About the Opportunity

Metcash Retail Technology provides systems integration and business support services for all retail customers serviced by Metcash Food & Grocery and Australian Liquor Marketers.

 

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Services Manager based in Canning Vale and responsible for retailer support across a range of systems; retail pricing for retailers, host support data to POS systems, ordering and electronic invoicing, point of sale software upgrade and training for our retailers, and the roll-out of new systems and programs like eCommerce to our retail customers.

 

Whilst the role is based in Canning Vale, you will be also responsible for project rollout to all our retailers Australia wide as needed, but with a focus on WA Retailers. The Services Manager will also interact with customers all over Australia, and some travel may be required. Technical Customer support for our customers will form part of the role.

 

In this Role

  • Managerial leadership for Support Advisors and Administration Officer
  • Support retailer integration with Metcash systems; Host Support, electronic ordering, electronic invoicing and the provision of scan data
  • Mediate and resolve retailer technical issues internally and externally
  • Interact with a range of stakeholders including business team members, IT team members, external parties [software and hardware solution partners] and with our retailers, throughout the product life cycle.
  • Ability to solve problems assisting the business in decisions through use of analytical tools
  • Establish & maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internally within Retail Technology and externally with our Customers

 

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Experience with retail operations and POS systems
  • Strong Customer Service focus
  • Experience with complex ERP systems desirable
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and leadership capability
  • Can build strategic working relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
