About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Dispatch Manager to join our Campbell’s team in Clayton. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the outbound dispatch function, ensuring workplace safety, compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and delivering outstanding service to our customers. You’ll also lead a team of loaders, pickers, and admin staff while working closely with transport providers to achieve efficient and timely deliveries
In this Role
- Oversee the dispatch, handling, and distribution of all outbound orders
- Manage staffing levels and workloads to optimise operational efficiency
- Build strong relationships with transport providers and customers
- Lead, coach, and develop loaders, pickers, and admin staff
- Implement processes to minimise shrinkage and improve service
- Ensure compliance with OHS, CoR, HACCP, and all safety legislation
- Escalate and resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service standards
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse and dispatch operations
You’re Likely a Match If
- 5+ years’ experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics management role
- Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Experience leading and developing diverse operational teams
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and influence
- Proven ability to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with compliance standards such as OHS, HACCP, and RTW
- Warehousing or distribution qualifications (desirable)
