About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Dispatch Manager to join our Campbell’s team in Clayton. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll lead the warehouse dispatch function for outbound goods, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer service. You’ll also work closely with transport providers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries while driving continuous improvement across the team.
In this Role
- Oversee the dispatch, handling, and distribution of all outbound orders.
- Manage staffing levels and workloads to optimise operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with transport providers and customers.
- Implement processes to minimise shrinkage and improve service levels.
- Lead and supervise loaders, pickers, and admin teams, ensuring performance and development.
- Uphold all safety, OHS, CoR, HACCP, and compliance requirements.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain high levels of customer service.
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending and implementing better processes.
You’re Likely a Match If
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar warehouse or dispatch management role.
- Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Experience leading and developing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Proven ability to resolve operational issues while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Warehousing or distribution qualifications (desirable).
