About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Credit Support Officer based in Crestmead.  The role of Credit Support Officer is responsible for effectively and efficiently administering credit department activity to ensure ALM cash flow is maximized; ALM’s credit risk is minimized, and customer service is enhanced.

In this Role

• Management of all administration enquiries and administration tasks for allocated state inbox
• 100% availability in ALM Credit phone queue to answer customer enquiries during work hours.
• Opening customer Credit Accounts and ALM Internal Accounts
• Register Securities
• Provide administration support as required to support the Credit Officers and Credit Management
• Ad Hoc Administration tasks for Credit Team Leaders
• Provide back up support for Credit Analysts & Credit Compliance if required

You’re Likely a Match If

• Attention to detail with an organised approach.
• Multitasking with accuracy and efficiency
• Skilled in customer onboarding, PPSR registration and online credit check process
• Experience with Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
• Excellent time management
• Experience in MS Excel to intermediate level
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good phone manner when dealing with customers and staff
