About the Opportunity

Ready to lead a high-performing credit team and help shape the future of independent retail? We’re looking for a passionate Credit Team Leader to join our Finance team in Crestmead, QLD on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Commercial Credit Manager, you’ll guide a team of Credit professionals to deliver exceptional service and results — and have fun doing it!

In this Role

• Oversee daily credit operations and workflow management
• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Credit Officers and Support staff
• Conduct monthly debtor ledger and credit limit reviews
• Manage escalated queries and resolve issues within delegation
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
• Prepare ad hoc reports and support the Commercial Credit Manager
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Foster a customer-first, collaborative team culture

You’re Likely a Match If

• Have 3–5+ years of credit leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Are a natural communicator with strong interpersonal and coaching skills
• Can solve problems and negotiate like a pro
• Know your way around MS Excel and Office
• Bring a proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Have experience leading a team through change and keeping engagement high during transformation
