About the Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity to join Metcash as a Retail Implementation Specialist. This role will involve the delivery of new independent Metcash stores, New Stores, DSA, refurbishments and fit outs through effective management & co-ordination between Metcash, Retailer & relevant third parties. The Retail Implementation Specialist will be working with Retailers and Metcash Teams and external parties to develop project plans, timelines, and offer support in the execution of the project. This role requires Metro and Regional Travel.
In this Role
- Working with Metcash Teams and Retailers to plan and deliver new initiatives
- Work with retailers to plan and execute changes to store layouts, assist in the development of whole store plans and format changes.
- Support and help retailers develop internal and external designs for branding, including signage.
- Store relays, layouts, and collateral are received on time and to budget.
- Retail Space Planograms to be utilised and implemented in to stores.
- Present sales data to retailers, with recommendations on how to improve store performance.
You’re Likely a Match If
- Exposure to supermarket fit out and refurbishments preferred
- Basic project management and budgeting skills
- Ability to interpret plans
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of Office 365. In particular with Excel.
