About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash an RMS (Retail Merchandising Services) Territory Manager – based in Crestmead. The RMS Territory Manager will work fully remote with the majority of the role working in our retailer sites.
Are you ready to drive sustainable wholesale and retail sales while strategically representing the best interests of Metcash, retailers, and vendor partners? We are seeking a talented Merchandiser to join our dynamic team and make a real impact.
In this Role
- Negotiate terms with retailers and determine service levels, hours and frequency
- Connect and liaise with key vendor partners to ensure opportunities are maximised for the vendor and retailers
- Resource allocation of service hours and frequency by store, ensuring call cycle efficiencies
- Train, coach and mentor merchandisers
- Partner with the National and State Merchandise teams providing feedback and category insights
- Assist with category strategies and range review execution
- Negotiate merchandise funding to credit retailers for discontinued stock
- Partner with the Sales and Project teams ensuring alignment to best serve and maximise opportunities for retailers
You’re Likely a Match If
- Previous industry experience in the FMCG environment
- Demonstrated success in influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders
- Experience working to deadlines and managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders
- A customer-centric mindset and the ability to deliver exceptional service.
