About the Opportunity
Are you analytical, highly organised and passionate about improving operational processes? We're looking for a State Pallet Controller – Crestmead to take ownership of pallet management across state operations, working within the National Pallet Control Team to maintain process accuracy, compliance and national standards.
This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys solving operational challenges and wants to build a career in supply chain, logistics, inventory or equipment control. You'll gain exposure to reporting, data analysis and continuous improvement, with a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
In this Role
- Monitor state-level pallet activities and ensure alignment with national pallet management processes and standards.
- Investigate and resolve pallet account variances, escalating complex or unresolved issues when required.
- Conduct compliance checks, audits and process reviews, and coordinate stocktakes to reconcile physical pallet movements against transactional records.
- Prepare accurate reports and analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Provide guidance, training and day-to-day support to state operations teams.
- Act as the key point of contact for pallet-related queries and build productive relationships with operations teams and trading partners.
- Contribute state-level insights to the development and improvement of national pallet management standards.
- Drive cost and service improvements by strengthening pallet controls and embedding best-practice standards across state operations.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working with 2IC pallet control systems and pallet reconciliation processes, ideally within supply chain, logistics, inventory, equipment control or network operations.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience using reporting tools and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities, with the confidence to guide, train and influence operational teams without direct authority.
- A collaborative approach and a genuine focus on achieving positive cost and service outcomes; pallet management experience would be highly regarded.
