About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Campbells Eagle Farm team on a casual basis with a view to permanency in the future. This customer-facing role is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient checkout service, ensuring accurate transactions and a positive shopping experience.

 

In this Role

  • Operate checkout register and process transactions accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
  • Handle cash, EFTPOS, and other payment methods securely
  • Assist with bagging and packing customer purchases
  • Monitor stock levels at checkout and replenish as needed
  • Support store team with general duties when required
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures

 

What are we looking for?

  • Have experience in retail or customer service (checkout/cashier experience preferred)
  • Are friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
  • Are reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Are adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pay close attention to detail and take initiative
  • Are available for flexible shifts, including weekends
  • Must have full work rights
  • Must be available for an on-site, in‑person interview
