About the Opportunity

At Metcash, we’re excited to announce that we will be hiring two Storeworkers to join our team at Eagle Farm - one full-time and one casual position available!

As a full-time Storeworker, you will play a key role in managing stock efficiently and supporting our operations with your forklift license with a 9:00am – 5:30pm shift. The casual position will focus on organizing stock, picking orders, and ensuring smooth operations for the best possible customer experience between shifts from 4:00am to 11:36am or 7:00am to 5:30pm.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have great attention to detail, and be committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. If you’re reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to work in a collaborative team environment, we’d love to hear from you!

In this Role

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring items are stored in the correct locations using the forklift and manual handling
• Assist with stock organisation and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure stock is easily accessible and properly stored to optimise space and flow
• Assist with picking orders, ensuring the correct items are selected, and prepare them for dispatch or customer pickup
• Provide general support to the store team, including helping customers when needed, and organising tasks in the warehouse and on the sales floor
• Assist in performing regular stock checks and audits, ensuring inventory levels are accurately recorded

You’re Likely a Match If

• Valid Forklift License (essential for full-time position) with experience operating a forklift safely
• Experience in Warehouse or Retail: Previous experience in a store or warehouse environment is preferred
• A strong customer service background
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the store team
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks
