About the Opportunity

The Bottle-O, Pit Lane is looking for a friendly and reliable Bottleshop Attendant to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be passionate about building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and helping customers discover something new. This is a permanent position and will include a mixture of day/night shifts between Monday-Friday. Please note, there will be an occasional Saturday shift required, which would be a substitute for one of the weekdays.

In this Role

• Greeting customers warmly, answering product-related questions, and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences
• Operating the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring accurate transactions.   
• Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and replenishing shelves   
• Keeping the store clean, organised, and visually appealing  
• Ensuring all sales are conducted in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations.  

You’re Likely a Match If

• Valid RSA Certificate   
• Previous Retail, hospitality or customer service experience is ideal   
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility for different shifts
• Team player who will contribute to a friendly working environment!
