Forklift Operator/Bottleshop Attendant

About the Opportunity

The Bottle-O, Pit Lane is looking for a friendly and reliable Forklift Operator/Bottleshop Attendant to join our team. This role provides great variety between forklift operation, and general customer service duties. The successful person in this role will have the opportunity for long term progression. This is a permanent position and will include a mixture of 7am-3pm + 10am-6pm shifts between Monday-Friday.

In this Role

• Operating forklifts to assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Greeting customers warmly, answering product-related questions, and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences
• Operating the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring accurate transactions.   
• Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and replenishing shelves   

You’re Likely a Match If

• Valid RSA Certificate  
• Valid Forklift Licence
• Previous Retail, hospitality or customer service experience is ideal   
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
