About the role

We are currently seeking an outgoing individual to join the team as a casual Yard Assistant / Delivery Driver for our Mitre 10 site in Footscray. This position will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement. Working with various team members, you will have excellent interpersonal skills to build solid, long-term relationships. 

What you will be doing:

• Provide superior customer service and providing product knowledge
• Maintenance of stock standards
• Safe and timely delivery of goods to meet agreed delivery schedules
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas

What you will bring;

• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work across the 7 days of the week, including some public holidays
• Previous Timber & Hardware industry experience in a similar role
• Safety and Customer service focus
• Forklifit License
• MR Truck License
