Ever wondered what it takes to keep a busy Distribution Centre running like clockwork? It starts with great planning, smart decisions and someone who can connect all the moving parts.

At Metcash, we're looking for a Logistics Planning Manager who can turn operational complexity into efficiency, bring teams together and ensure our Distribution Centre delivers on its promises.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll own the end-to-end operational plan, bringing together workforce, inventory, warehouse capacity and transport to deliver the right balance of cost, service and performance.

In this Role, You Will:

• Connect the dots: Lead end-to-end logistics planning, aligning workforce, inventory, warehouse capacity and transport to deliver seamless operations.
• Plan smart, deliver better: Optimise resources, workforce planning and operational schedules to drive productivity, cost efficiency and service excellence.
• Turn insights into action: Leverage data and performance metrics to anticipate risks, challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead with purpose: Partner with operational leaders, build team capability and champion a collaborative, high-performing and safety-first culture.

You’ll bring:

• Strong experience in logistics, supply chain or Distribution Centre operations, including workforce planning and resource optimisation.
• Solid understanding of warehousing, inventory, transport operations and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to balance cost, productivity and service while driving continuous improvement.
• Confident and collaborative leader who can influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions and champion operational excellence and safety.
