About the Opportunity

Are you a highly organised and proactive individual looking to make an impact? Join our dynamic Logistics Administrator team and provide essential administrative support to ensure the South Australia Logistics function runs efficiently, effectively, and with a customer-first approach!

In this role, you’ll support the operations of Grocery, Perishables, and ALM Logistics at Gepps Cross, South Australia 5 days a week assisting with administrative needs for our ALM businesses in Darwin and Alice Springs.

In this Role

  • Ensure that the Payroll timecard editing requirements for the site are completed efficiently and effectively and to the highest quality on time and with minimal errors
  • Effectively control the daily/ weekly/ monthly processing of the Pallet and Crate inventory
  • Effectively process the non-trade procurement, Freight Invoicing and direct expenses through our Concur system.
  • Ensure all customer claims investigation, lodging, closure and support to the National Customer Service team are met to the required SLA’s whilst delivering a high level of customer service to our external and internal customers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation & company standards (including OH&S and HR)
  • Provide administration support to the Logistics Leadership team for any additional administrative functions as required by the business from time to time

You’re Likely a Match If

  • Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and systems (Kronos)
  • Experienced and passionate about process improvement to drive efficiency
  • Strong administrative background with excellent organizational skills
  • Adaptable to changing legislation, procedures, systems, and priorities
  • Knowledge of statutory and Metcash regulations, including HACCP and OH&S
