About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised Stock Control Assistant to join our team in a full-time, permanent role based at our Gepps Cross office. Working closely with internal + external stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimising stock availability and supporting supplier performance across the distribution centre. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for supply chain and inventory management to contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations.

In this Role

• Raise and maintain purchase orders in line with demand requirements.
• Follow up suppliers regarding outstanding purchase orders and deliveries.
• Monitor supplier order confirmations and update system accordingly.
• Manage supplier out of stocks/shortages and subsequent supply risks.
• Develop working relationships to support service levels, inventory & business objectives.
• Maximise profit through effective stock management within capital requirements through price increases.
• Co-ordinate daily inbound delivery bookings with suppliers and carriers.
• Monitor KPIs including Weeks Cover, Aged Stock, Fill Rate, DIFOT, Out of Stocks and Inventory Accuracy.

You’re Likely a Match If

• Advanced computing skills including Microsoft suite
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
• FMCG experience is highly desirable
• Eagerness to learn + develop with the business   
• Demonstrated ability to manage both internal + external stakeholders
