About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised Stock Control Assistant to join our team in a full-time, permanent role based at our Gepps Cross office. Working closely with internal + external stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimising stock availability and supporting supplier performance across the distribution centre. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for supply chain and inventory management to contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations.
In this Role
- Raise and maintain purchase orders in line with demand requirements.
- Follow up suppliers regarding outstanding purchase orders and deliveries.
- Monitor supplier order confirmations and update system accordingly.
- Manage supplier out of stocks/shortages and subsequent supply risks.
- Develop working relationships to support service levels, inventory & business objectives.
- Maximise profit through effective stock management within capital requirements through price increases.
- Co-ordinate daily inbound delivery bookings with suppliers and carriers.
- Monitor KPIs including Weeks Cover, Aged Stock, Fill Rate, DIFOT, Out of Stocks and Inventory Accuracy.
You’re Likely a Match If
- Advanced computing skills including Microsoft suite
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- FMCG experience is highly desirable
- Eagerness to learn + develop with the business
- Demonstrated ability to manage both internal + external stakeholders
