CRM Coordinator

Date: 21 Oct 2025

Location: Heatherton, VIC, AUSTRALIA

Company: Metcash

About the Opportunity

Our Mitre 10 team is seeking a CRM Coordinator who’ll be responsible for the delivery of email and SMS marketing campaigns.

You will manage the end‑to‑end deployment of CRM campaigns - from content ideation and drafting emails, to distribution. You’ll also work with internal stakeholders to develop UGC, ensuring everything is timely, accurate, engaging and aligned with our retention and growth goals.

This is a fixed-term contract position until 3 July 2026, with the prospect of a permanent offer at the end of the contract.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate and manage the full deployment of email and SMS marketing campaigns using our CRM platforms.
  • Build and maintain campaign calendars and timelines to guarantee on‑time execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Promotions and Creative teams to ensure campaign assets (copy, design, links) are accurate and deployment‑ready.
  • Manage customer segmentation and audience targeting, using data and campaign requirements to guide selections.
  • Conduct comprehensive QA: email render tests, SMS content checks, link/test token validation across devices and platforms.
  • Monitor campaign delivery metrics (delivery rates, opens, clicks) and provide post‑campaign performance reports.
  • Assist with CRM database hygiene and administration (suppression lists, opt‑outs, list maintenance).
  • Support ad‑hoc campaign projects including A/B testing setup and reporting.
  • Provide store‑level administrative support around loyalty communications and customer service as needed.

You’re likely a match if you are/have:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in CRM, marketing coordination or digital marketing, with solid knowledge of CRM best practices and marketing automation.
  • Familiarity with personalisation techniques, customer segmentation and A/B testing frameworks, paired with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and report findings.
  • Working knowledge of multi‑channel campaign delivery (email, SMS, push, in‑app) and basic proficiency with CRM/automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo or Braze.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously, while maintaining high attention to detail and quality control.
  • Proven experience collaborating across marketing, promotions, creative, data and operations teams, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset: monitoring delivery, open rates, click‑throughs and other key metrics — using those insights to optimise campaigns and improve performance.
  • Understanding of customer data usage, privacy standards and email/SMS marketing regulations (e.g., Australian Privacy Act) and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach to compliance and database hygiene.
  • Experience in a retail or omnichannel environment (preferred), with awareness of how CRM integrates with broader marketing, loyalty and digital ecosystems.
