IT Controls Officer – Demand & Projects

About the Opportunity
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive IT Controls Officer – Demand & Projects to join our Group IT team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong administration, project support or coordination background who enjoys working with stakeholders, keeping processes on track and ensuring the details don't fall through the cracks. Supporting the IT Controls team, you'll play a critical role in managing demand intake, preparing governance meetings, maintaining project data, coordinating communications and supporting reporting activities. Based on the position description, the role supports demand management, project governance, meeting administration and reporting activities across the IT Controls function.
You'll be joining a team that is evolving and maturing, so we're looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes and building strong relationships across the business.
The successful candidate will be available to commence at the start of January 2027.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate and administer incoming demand requests, ensuring information is complete and accurately tracked
- Support project governance activities and assist in progressing work through established processes
- Prepare meeting agendas, collate supporting documentation and coordinate governance forums
- Take accurate meeting minutes, track actions and distribute outcomes to stakeholders
- Support project and portfolio reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Assist with project set-up and administration activities across various systems
- Manage shared team communications and support the IT Controls mailbox
- Produce reports and assist with timesheet, billing and compliance-related administration
- Build strong relationships with Project Managers, leaders and key stakeholders across the business
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and team efficiency
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in an administration, project support, coordination, PMO support or similar role
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence communicating with a broad range of people
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
- Experience preparing meeting packs, agendas, minutes and follow-up actions
- Beginner to Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams
- Confidence learning and working across different systems and processes
Highly Regarded
✅ Experience using Microsoft Copilot
✅ Experience using Azure Dev Ops
✅ Experience using ServiceNow or similar workflow/project management platforms
✅ Previous exposure to project, PMO or governance environments
✅ Experience supporting project reporting, resource management or portfolio administration
✅ Experience working within a large corporate, IT or FMCG environment
