About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an FP&A Manager to join our Finance team at our Heatherton National Support Office (with occasional travel to Port Melbourne), leading enterprise planning across our Total Tools & Hardware Group.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll take the lead and drive the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle across a complex, multi-brand business. Starting with the Hardware division and expanding across the broader group, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders, including our Senior Leadership Team and exposure to the Executive Leadership Team, to drive planning, identify opportunities, and influence key strategic decisions.
It’s an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A professional who enjoys working at pace, leading planning cycles end-to-end, and shaping how a business invests and grows.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive the end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Build and maintain enterprise-wise forecasts across sales, capex and working capital
- Partner closely with executive and commercial leaders to deliver actionable financial insights
- Identify gaps, risks and opportunities across initiatives and support performance improvement
- Develop and drive the 5-year strategic plan alongside senior stakeholders
- Identify risks and opportunities, supporting business performance through clear planning
- Lead capex planning, including prioritisation and governance of investment decisions
- Collaborate across multiple business units to ensure alignment and consistency in planning
- Contribute to continuous improvement, including exploring planning and reporting tool enhancements
You’re Likely a Match If You have
- 5+ years’ experience in FP&A or financial planning roles within a large or scaled environment
- Proven experience leading end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycles with full ownership
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working closely with senior leaders
- A CA or CPA qualification (essential)
- Experience working across multiple business units or within a complex, multi-brand organisation
- Exposure to planning and reporting tools (TM1 experience highly regarded; Adaptive Insights/ERP systems also beneficial)
- Experience in hardware, tools, retail or wholesale industries (highly regarded)
- A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify gaps and influence business outcomes
