Are you a seasoned Graphic Designer with a passion for aesthetic excellence and a love for design that has impact? IHG has an exciting opportunity to join the Merchandise Team. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that will help the intended hardware audience to feel personally connected to the product or service.
The role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders in an in house corporate environment to build brand awareness, enhance engagement and drive traffic.

- Producing finished artwork for primarily for digital but also extending to print, for both national mainstream design and local area marketing design.
- Deliverables include:
- Web banners, eDMs, & social media images and videos.
- Catalogue, point-of-sale, flyers, press ads and posters.
- And various other touch points when required.
- Supporting ad-hoc design requirements.
- Strict adherence to the brand style guide of Mitre 10, Home Hardware, Design 10, True Value Hardware and Thrifty Link.
- Designing and delivering artwork that meets the brief and is produced in a timely fashion.
- Prioritising work to accommodate changing timelines and meet client expectations.
- Liaising and responding to clients and various stakeholders in a timely manner.
You’re Likely a Match If you have
- A Qualification in Graphic Design , visual communication, orrelated field minimum
- Knowledge and proficiency in graphic design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or Figma.
- Basic understanding of After Effects.
- An eye for good UI & UX design.
- Micosoft applications (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of retail marketing & communications including in-store, digital, social & ATL
- Basic understanding of pre-press
- Basic understanding of shopper insights
- Basic understanding of marketing legislation
- Understanding of how agencies work
- Optimistic and enthusiastic mindset and an ability to communicate a vision with passion for customer-lead experiences online
