About the Opportunity

 

As our People & Culture Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting leaders and team members across a range of people and culture matters. You’ll provide expert guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations, helping to ensure a consistent and compliant approach across the business.

This role operates across both our Port Melbourne and Heatherton sites and offers a hybrid working model (3days office and 2 days WFH), giving you the flexibility to balance on-site engagement with remote work.

As the PAC Advisor you will be pivotal in fostering strong working relationships, building leader capability, and ensuring our people practices align with both business goals and legislative requirements.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Provide advice and coaching to leaders and team members on P&C policies, Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, and employment practices
  • Case manage employee relations matters such as absenteeism, performance management, and policy compliance
  • Prepare accurate and timely documentation, including offers, consultation packs, and exit letters
  • Maintain and enhance P&C content on the intranet to support self-service across the business
  • Manage system updates and employee/position changes within the HRIS
  • Identify trends and provide insights and training recommendations to proactively support leader development
  • Contribute to broader P&C projects and initiatives that support organisational growth and culture
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across both wholly owned and joint venture businesses

 

You’re likely a match if you are/have

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a range of employee relations matters, including complex case management
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial instruments, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and confidence.  We use Success Factors so experience with this platform will be a advantage
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels with empathy and credibility
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment
