About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Heatherton, taking ownership of a portfolio of complex, high-value customer accounts.
This is a great step up for an experienced Credit or AR professional who enjoys working autonomously, influencing outcomes, and being the go-to for escalations and risk decisions. You’ll play a key role in improving cashflow, strengthening credit governance, and mentoring others across the function — all while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of complex, high-risk customer accounts
- Making informed credit decisions, including holds, terms and escalations
- Acting as the escalation point for disputes, overdue accounts and customer issues
- Leading account reconciliations to ensure accurate, clean ledgers
- Coaching and supporting Credit Controllers with technical guidance
- Driving improvements in AR performance, including reducing DSO and bad debt
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across credit operations
You’re Likely a Match If You have
- Proven experience in Credit, Collections, or Accounts Receivable
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with complex account data
- Experience managing escalations, disputes and high-value portfolios
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- A proactive, accountable approach with strong attention to detail
- The ability to build strong relationships and manage challenging conversations
