Do you have a passion for plants, gardening and helping people create beautiful indoor / outdoor spaces?

Hudson Mitre 10 Queanbeyan is looking for a Holiculturist to join our team on a casual basis rostering between Tuesday and Saturday. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their garden knowledge, providing great customer service, and working in a hands-on retail environment.

You'll be a key part of our Garden Centre, helping customers find the right plants, products and advice for their next gardening project.

What you will be doing;

• Assisting customers with plant selection, gardening products and seasonal advice
• Providing outstanding customer service 
• Maintaining healthy, well-presented plant displays
• Receiving, watering and caring for plant stock
• Processing sales through the POS system
• Creating customer orders and organising deliveries where required
• Maintaining pricing, signage and promotional displays
• Following safety procedures and helping keep the store clean and tidy

You’ll likely be a match if you have:

• Strong knowledge of plants, gardening and outdoor products
• Previous experience in a garden centre, nursery, landscaping, horticulture or a similar environment
• A genuine passion for gardening and helping customers
• A friendly, approachable and customer-focused attitude
• Reliable availability to work a rotating roster between Tuesday and Saturday
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems
