About the Opportunity
As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will take full ownership of Food Service & Convenience operations across your region — championing customer experience, operational excellence, commercial performance, compliance, and the development of high‑performing teams.
You will oversee the Northmead, Central Coast, Ingleburn, Canberra, Wagga, Albury, Tamworth, and Kays Meat branches, lead cross‑functional teams and manage the full regional P&L. Your focus will include ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, driving sales and profitability, and delivering continuous improvement initiatives that optimise supply chain performance and in‑store operational efficiency.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing regional teams across warehousing, delivery, and retail operations.
- Translate national strategies into clear, measurable regional execution plans aligned to business priorities.
- Drive operational excellence, elevate customer experience, and deliver strong commercial outcomes across the region.
- Own and manage the regional P&L, consistently meeting or exceeding financial performance targets.
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Partner cross‑functionally to execute strategic initiatives and deliver service innovation.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with WHS, HACCP, Chain of Responsibility, and all relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities, optimise processes, and enhance service delivery performance.
You're a Likely Match If You Have:
- Strong commercial acumen with full P&L accountability and deep expertise in financial performance management.
- Leadership experience across retail operations, supply chain, or wholesale environments.
- Demonstrated success leading large, cross‑functional teams across multi‑site operations.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capability, with a strong track record of leading organisational change and guiding teams through transformation.
- Proven ability to drive growth initiatives, deliver transformation programs, and embed continuous improvement.
- Comprehensive understanding of WHS, HACCP, Chain of Responsibility, and contemporary people leadership frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (master’s preferred) with strong analytical capability and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Agile, adaptable leadership style well suited to fast‑paced, customer‑centric environments.
