Payroll Compliance & Project Specialist - Fixed Term

Your role with Metcash
•    Analyse payroll data and support the compliance project. 
•    Complete leave balance reconciliations across Chris21 and SuccessFactors.
•    Support ad hoc Chris21 projects, including configuration reviews, procedural changes and testing.
•    Assist with Enterprise Agreement backpay following agreement renegotiations.
•    Review and prepare payroll data for acquisitions and support its upload into Chris21.
•    Document Chris21 leave-group configurations against Enterprise Agreements, awards and legislation.
•    Assist with end-of-year reconciliations for ATO reporting, maintain procedural documentation and respond to payroll requests within agreed service and quality expectations. 

What you’ll bring
•    At least five years of practical experience in payroll-related work, including reconciliations, reporting and working to strict deadlines.
•    An understanding of computerised payroll and time-and-attendance systems, with Chris21 and Kronos experience preferred.
•    Strong Excel capability and excellent attention to detail.
•    Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    The ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced and high-volume environment.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive stakeholder relationships.
•    Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
