About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic and future-focused Account Management Lead to join our Food team. In this leadership role, you’ll inspire a high-performance sales culture and unlock the full potential of our State Account Management team. You’ll lead from the front, build capability, and drive strategic growth across our independent retail network.

 

In this Role

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing State-based Account Management team
  • Personally manage relationships with the State’s largest and most complex customers
  • Oversee development and execution of Joint Business Plans and customer strategies
  • Champion customer and commercial priorities in cross-functional planning
  • Serve as the conduit between national programs and local execution
  • Monitor customer health, pipeline activity, and performance metrics
  • Identify capability gaps and lead targeted development and succession planning
  • Attend and participate in key seasonal events such as Expo and Easter

You’re Likely a Match If

  • A proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering against KPIs
  • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of margin, pricing, and profitability
  • Strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing senior internal and external relationships
  • Ability to lead teams through change and coach for capability growth
  • Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Experience in strategic account management and retail operations
  • Digital fluency in sales analytics platforms for data-driven decision making
