About the role:

 

You will primarily be responsible for ensuring that our retailer customers in the independent grocery, convenience and liquor space have the right partners, systems, processes and data to deliver on retailer expectations.  Additionally, through the transaction data interchange that Metcash and our partners, may help our internal teams and retailers provide their shoppers with the best possible experience in future. This role has a mix of field and office duties and will be initially focused on company owned stores roll-out support (Grocery and Liquor), inclusive of; store staff training, store ticketing, liaison with the Point of Sale software providers, and procedural training for cash management, daily reconciliation, stock take, ordering stock, and managing inventory in the stores.

 

The role will also work on project deliverables and provide general retail technology support to our independent retail customers, with respect to; Host Support System integration, electronic ordering, e-invoice processing, scan data configuration and implementation of our payments programs.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Support retailer integration with Metcash systems; Host Support, electronic ordering, electronic invoicing and the provision of scan dataCustomer support (issue logging and resolution) and project delivery
  • Relationship management: Vendors, Business, Suppliers and Customers
  • Support Metcash strategic retail level initiatives as required
  • Execute complex change management projects on a large scale (up to 3,000 stores within a project scope)
  • Mediate and resolve retailer technical issues
  • Ability to solve problems assisting the business in decisions through use of analytical tools.
