About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Dry Warehouse Shift Manager. Based at our Huntingwood office, you will lead the shift and oversee traditional picks. You are responsible for liaising with overall warehouse operations to ensure that standards are met, and orders fulfilled. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity to add value in a high performing, professional environment.

In this Role

• Monitor and control operations, considering the transportation schedule and store service level
• Report on issues on shifts and recommend actions to be taken to mitigate issues
• Ensure stock is picked and supplied accurately to meet customer orders
• Supervise staff providing feedback and managing performance issues
• Train new employees and existing stakeholders when required
• Ensure all OHS, company policies and legislation is adhered to at all times
• Comply with OHS systems, ensure RTW procedures are met, and comply with HACCP systems and CoR legislation.

You’re Likely a Match If

• Experience with automated warehousing systems
• Previous role in FMCG operations
• Knowledge of EEO, OH&S and HACCP Regulations
• Extensive knowledge of OH&S practices
