What you’ll do

•    Partner with NSW Food & Liquor sites to embed the Metcash SHE Management System
•    Coach and support frontline leaders in incident investigations, critical risk reviews and SHE engagements
•    Review site risk registers and controls against legislation, codes of practice and internal standards
•    Support the development and delivery of risk reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
•    Conduct site walks and observations to monitor compliance with SHE policies and procedures
•    Contribute to site SHE meetings, communications and safety promotion activities

What you’ll bring

•    Certificate IV or tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Safety, Health & Environment support or advisory role
•    Strong understanding of warehouse and/or retail operational environments
•    Knowledge of WHS, environmental and HACCP legislative requirements
•    Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
•    High attention to detail with sound problem solving and organisational capability
