Retail Powertools / Power Garden Sales

About the role

Mitre10 is seeking an outgoing individual to join the team as a Power Garden / Power tools specialist.

This is a casual position and could eventuate into a permanent Part-time or even Full-time position. This position will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong sales skills, computer literacy, customer service skills, strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement. Working with various team members, you will have excellent interpersonal skills to build solid, long-term relationships.

What you will be doing:

• Welcoming and assisting customers at the front counter
• Processing sales through our POS system
• Advising customer, quoting, selling and maintain tool displays.
• Answering phone enquiries and helping with click-and-collect orders
• Keeping the front-of-store area neat, organised, and well-stocked
• Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver excellent customer service

What you will bring:

• Tool knowledge preferred but not essential
• Previous sales experience preferred but not essential
• Strong computer literacy
• Attention to detail and effective time management skills
• A passion for customer service and thrive to resolve customer issues
• A strong team player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
