About the opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Team Member to join our team at our Mitre 10 Keith store.

This is a permanent Part Time position with up to 37.5 hours per week, rostered between Monday and Sunday. Saturday hours are 8:30am – 12pm, and Sunday hours are 9am – 12pm.  

What you will be doing

• Providing excellent customer service, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
• Putting away stock, mainly hardware products
• Supporting with admin tasks as required
• Physical work with some heavy lifting required
• Stock and store merchandising
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department

What you will bring

• Demonstrated strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment
• Background in hardware and retail an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge of, or the ability to learn safety systems highly regarded
• Ability to assist in the leading of a small team when required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to be available to work across a 7 day rotating roster
• Must have a driver’s licence. Forklift Licence highly advantageous
