About the Opportunity

 

Our Hudson Trade Centre Mitre 10 store in Kirrawee, NSW is looking for a reliable and organised Dispatch Team Member to join our team and support the day-to-day delivery operations.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll assist with coordinating deliveries, supporting drivers, and helping ensure orders go out accurately and on time. You’ll play an important part in providing a smooth and positive experience for our customers and builders.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday

 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Assist with scheduling and confirming delivery orders using our Delivery Management System (DMS)
  • Support the coordination of delivery runs and communicate with drivers
  • Keep customers updated on delivery timeframes and any delays
  • Help resolve basic delivery issues as they arise, escalating where needed
  • Allocate and organise stock within the warehouse, following safety procedures
  • Support with purchase orders and general admin tasks for the timber yard
  • Provide general support to the Store Manager and wider team with daily operations

 

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics/dispatch, or trade environment (highly regarded but not essential)
  • A willingness to learn and take direction in a busy environment
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure
  • Basic computer skills (experience with DMS or similar systems is a bonus)
  • Forklift licence (essential)
