About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales representative to join Metcash as Business Development Manager – On Premise (ALM Liquor) responsible for a dedicated area ideally based in Newcastle and supporting from Central Coast to Central NSW.  The Business Development Manager will deliver growth in our business footprint and drive sales in these key areas. The BDM will seek out opportunities to increase the On-Premise customer base by supporting our existing customer base while also looking to bring new customers into the network and supporting them ongoing.

In this Role

• Build new business partnerships with customers using the ALM network including groups and individual venues. Be the business advisor of choice.
• Drive excellence in execution with a focus on delivering all KPI’s for the business through it’s On-Premise channel
• Maximise all key business tools to effectively plan and achieved set objectives in your territory and be responsible for a set geographic area, ensuring the required call schedule is achieved as per business expectations for customers 

You’re Likely a Match If

• Experience as a territory manager with a great understanding of the On-Premise channel
• Extensive knowledge of products, categories and segments within liquor
• Highly customer focused
• Sound understanding of the Liquor industry and its major suppliers and their product ranges
• Intermediate Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
