Truck Driver

About the role 

A great opportunity has arisen in our Becks Mitre 10 Trade Centre business for a Truck Driver to cover the Launceston region. This is a casual/full time role and you will be allocating shifts across Monday to Friday.

The team member will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated, and be relied upon to work in an unsupervised environment. They will need to hold a current MR/HR Truck License and a Hiab ticket would be advantageous.

What you will be doing

• Delivery goods to our customers in the greater northern Tasmanian area (occasional hand unloads)
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors
• Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
• Be relied upon to represent the company in a professional manner

What you will bring

• Hold a valid car license
• Hold a current MR/HR Truck License – essential

• Forklift License (an advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit (some heavy liftings require)
• Available to take shifts between Monday to Friday
