VIC/TAS On Premise Manager

Due to an internal promotion the Southern States business has an exciting and important role as the On Premise Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. The successful candidate will lead a team of dynamic on premise experts - coaching, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance culture.  The role includes building long-standing, preferential relationships with our key accounts based on a deep understanding of the customer’s organisation to drive volume and profitability.

 

What you’ll do

  • Drive new business and maintain existing business focussing on state based multi ownership groups in the on-premise market
  • Support the Business Development Managers - co-ordinate communication and information sharing, including sales reporting and on-premise insights
  • Contribute and be a leader in supplier and key partner interactions and negotiations
  • Participate and lead building sales and negotiation capabilities across on-premise teams via specific training initiatives and working group sessions. 

 

What you’ll bring

  • Proven track record managing large customer accounts, ideally in a Trade/Liquor/FMCG environment, including accountability for conducting business reviews
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets using a structured data-driven, planned approach – with strong numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced negotiator with experience in closing out commercial agreements
  • Skilled in communicating verbally and delivering articulate presentations
  • Strong resilience with the ability to succeed in a competitive environment and under pressure
