About The Store
Hudson Mitre 10 Leumeah is a proudly family-owned business with strong community roots and a trade-focused operation supporting local builders, contractors and volume customers. This is not a typical retail store - it’s a hands-on, fast-moving trade environment where operational excellence and strong team leadership are key.
What You’ll Be Working On
Think of this role as keeping the whole operation solid, straight and built to last:

Leading, motivating and supporting your team with clear direction and purpose

Building a strong, practical team culture where everyone pulls their weight

Coaching, mentoring and developing team members on the floor

Managing wages and rosters with precision

Staying on top of admin, systems and reporting

Identifying cost leaks and keeping the budget firmly under control

Protecting store assets and ensuring safe, secure operations
-
Analysing trading results and turning numbers into action

Ensuring the right products are ranged, stocked and well-presented

Delivering outstanding customer service, every single day
What You’ll Bring to the Job

Proven leadership experience in trade (timber or hardware a huge plus)

Clear, confident communication skills

The ability to stay calm, focused and organised when things get busy
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with builders, contractors and volume trade customers

A hands-on, practical approach with a strong sense of accountability

Confidence using systems, reports and spreadsheets
-
A forklift licence (highly regarded)
