About the Opportunity
Fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager on a 12mth FTC who is responsible for managing the planning and implementation of small / medium scale projects in the Food PMO team as part of the wider transformation remit. The Assistant Project Manager role requires collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups to identify, develop and deliver project management deliverables and assist in change management communication planning. You will also partner with key Business owners, SME stakeholders and Technology leads to drive end to end execution of projects.
In this Role
- Lead a project team and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation in line with project deliverables and expectations.
- Demonstrate the application of standards, methodologies and practice through the analysis, design, project management, and implementation of current and future initiatives.
- Own and proactively drive the full project lifecycle; successful project delivery will include full implementation, transition to an operational state and adoption by business owner.
- Manage all aspects of projects to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the approved baselines (scope, budget, quality, schedule, benefits and risk).
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure adoption of the changes.
- Act as Advisory to senior business sponsors and stakeholders to build the effectiveness of projects. and ensure clear definition of the change deliverables and expectations.
You’re Likely a Match If
- Minimum 2-3 years in delivering Projects or working as part of a Major Transformation Program.
- Experience in working within a structured framework.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile ‘New ways of Working’ Project Management.
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to articulate complex issues with a simplistic & priority focus approach.
- An ability to influence & gain stakeholder buy-in by building strong & effective internal and external working relationships.
- Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain process development would be an advantage.
- Retail/Wholesale experience is desirable
