Business & Process Analyst (HR Systems)

This role plays a critical role in bridging business needs, people processes, and technology solutions across the People & Culture function. This role is responsible for analysing, documenting, improving, and optimising HR processes while ensuring HR technology solutions effectively support business objectives and employee experiences.

Your Role with Metcash
•    Operating within a Business Capability Management (BCM) framework
•    Partner with People & Culture leaders and business stakeholders to define and shape capability outcomes
•    Lead end-to-end business analysis across workforce, talent, employee lifecycle and HRIS initiatives
•    Translate business needs into clear, prioritised, and traceable requirements
•    Facilitate workshops to define processes, requirements, and solution designs
•    Develop and document current and future state processes, user stories, and business rules
•    Ensure solutions align with business strategy, capability intent, and expected outcomes
•    Support business readiness and adoption by translating solutions into clear business impacts

What You’ll Bring
•    Proven experience (6+ years) in business analysis within complex, enterprise environments
•    Strong experience delivering HR, HRIS, or cross-functional transformation initiatives
•    Advanced stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills
•    Experience working within Business Capability Management frameworks
•    Signavio or similar process modelling tools experience
•    Ability to operate in ambiguity and shape clear problem definitions and solutions
•    Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
