We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our high-performing team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful projects that enhance systems, streamline operations, and support strategic growth. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems, working with cross-functional teams, and creating lasting value, we want to hear from you.

 

In this Role

  • As a seasoned Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis activities across streams of work within the team at Metcash Food, contributing to the successful delivery of project outcomes on time and to the required quality standards
  • Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering and documentation to ensure business and technical needs are clearly defined and detailed appropriately
  • Facilitate and support discovery workshops to capture information, identify risks and opportunities, and assess business impacts
  • Document and support the planning of business, people, and systems readiness activities, including testing, cutover, launch, and post-implementation reviews
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with project managers to ensure all deliverables align with stakeholder expectations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams, senior stakeholders, other Metcash business units, and external vendors to support project success

 

You’re Likely a Match If  

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on Digital and eCommerce initiatives, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a BA role
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments
  • Proven capability in analysing and mapping complex business processes, aligning them with industry best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital ecosystem and hands-on experience with eCommerce business processes
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile delivery frameworks
  • Experience in the Retail and FMCG sectors is highly regarded
