About the role:


The purpose of this role is to coordinate the planning, content, targeting and scheduling of CRM campaigns to influence on shopper behaviour and increase retail sales.

This role will be responsible for coordination of long term strategic campaign planning, day to day promotional and trigger campaigns, email scheduling and campaign content creation.

The role holder will support the National and State Marketing teams, Merchandise and Promotions teams to deliver national, state and supplier offers and communications to the right shoppers at the right time to optimise the impact on retailer sales, supplier income and return on investment for the shopper engagement program.


What you’ll do:


  • Create and schedule standardised campaign programs including catalogue, offer specials, newsletters, lifecycle, product and retailer specific campaigns.
  • Manage the campaign brief workflow process, supporting the marketing, merchandise and promotions teams to plan targeted communications to relevant shoppers.
  • Create insights from data to develop actionable shopper segments based on product purchase behaviour, frequency and Lifetime Value for use in CRM planning and campaign targeting.
  • Maintain and continuously develop the product information and content libraries, including Next Best Offer product categories, product and shopper segment tags and digital content assets.
  • Work with national and state merchandise teams to ensure regular and seasonal member offers are delivered, communicated to retailers, and the rebate process is adhered to.
  • Provide support for the IGA Media Centre initiative, responding to supplier briefs and coordinating supplier-funded campaign requirements
  • Communicate with and support retailers to incorporate localised communications in to campaigns
  • Support the CRM Campaign Manager to maintain the annual contact plan.
  • Ensure all campaigns and the use of shopper data are delivered within the frameworks of applicable legislation (Spam Act and Privacy Act) and best practice industry guidelines.
  • What you’ll bring:
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Ability to manipulate and analyse large, complex datasets
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Advanced planning skills and excellent attention to detail
  • 3+ years in digital or email marketing campaign role(s).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering return on investment from marketing initiatives.
  • Experience working with Multi Channel Campaign Management solutions such as IBM Campaign, Salesforce CRM, Market to or similar.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business management or marketing related discipline
  • Working within a very dynamic and complex business environment with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Maintaining an optimal balance of shopper-led strategy with campaign and supplier driven communication requirements based on stakeholder’s individual objectives.
