In this role, you’ll help shape the future of the IGA supermarket network by supporting the creation of shopper-led trade plans, sourcing great deals, and working with suppliers to bring innovative products and promotions to life. In this Role

  • Activate and execute national Household and Laundry strategies across the network
  • Ensure Household range aligns with market expectations while seeking differentiation opportunities
  • Implement a competitive pricing program across relevant SKUs
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans that complement the Non-Food strategy
  • Leverage market insights and analytics to maximize sales and profit, managing GP across defined categories
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver strategy and programs effectively
  • Monitor competitor activity to enable independent retailers to respond to market changes
  • Manage and present category performance, trends, and growth opportunities to internal teams and retailers

 

You’re Likely a Match If  

  • Extensive FMCG experience (e.g., Buying), with sound knowledge of supermarket retailing and supply chain efficiencies
  • Strong and collaborative leader with the ability to inspire and guide teams
  • Excellent understanding of promotional processes, category management, pricing strategies, and profitability drivers
  • Proven ability to lead teams through change while coaching to leverage talent and capability
  • Strong data and analytics background with the ability to build and execute effective strategies
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to partner with internal teams and external stakeholders
