About the Opportunity 


We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Change & Communication Manager. Your position will work with key stakeholders to design, deliver and implement fit for purpose change management and communication strategies. 
***Note – this role will be an initial 12-month fixed term contract***

 

In this Role

 

  • Create and implement change management plans that minimise employee resistance and maximise employee engagement. 
  • Developing Change collateral which aligns the Metcash Delivery Success approach, including change strategy & plans, change impact assessment, sponsor engagement documentation.
  • Develop and implement agreed Communications, Capability & Engagement plans for all stakeholders 
  • Business readiness processes and assessment with plans for action  
  • Collaborate with the program team to design, develop and deliver fit for purpose change activities & materials, stakeholder mapping & engagement plans
  • Track, monitor and report on change effectiveness, business readiness
  • Develop adoption and sustainability plans (including handover to BAU plan)

 

You’re Likely a Match If 

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a change management role within complex project, program environments 
  • Strong Negotiation & Influencing skills
  • Experience in creating targeted content
  • Change Management Qualifications and/or accreditations
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to work alongside all levels 
  • Collaborative style with solid, writing, editing, and proofreading skills 
  • Experience in managing a variety of communication platforms using fit for purpose platforms/formats
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and communicate purpose and direction 
  • Solid Sound analysis and planning skills
